MUSIC READING & THEORY
My teaching is rooted in classical methodology, endeavoring to give students the right balance of personalized attention, patience, practical training, and positive reinforcement. This allows for lessons to be about more than technique, putting emphasis on listening skills and music reading. By introducing these concepts of music theory, a student's grasp of musical principles will deepen, creating skills that last a lifetime.
PERFORMANCE COACHING
The anxiety caused by public speaking is a well understood dilemma. The same is true in the musical world, concerts and recitals can be stressful. Many people find it helpful to have a coach to give them hidden tips and tricks on giving a successful performance. Whether you're playing a gig, participating in a competition or other musical presentation, and you're simply trying to overcome stage fright, I can equip you with the tools necessary to perform free of nerves.
